Contest
Having different challenges for players to compete for during their dxd games. Each challenge will be different and unique. Though some might appear rather difficult, that is the point.
Prizes
Each challenge will be worth 25 Dollars. Also all winners will be given a unique forum award equal to their completed challenge.
Rules
1. Only one winner per challenge, but players may win multiple challenges.
2. Challenge must be met 100% to specifications.
3. Challenges may only be completed and claimed during dxd or dxdi games.
4. A replay MUST be given when claiming a challenge.
5. All replays will be thoroughly reviewed for anyone trying to cheat.
6. Multiple challenges may be completed during a single game.
7. Prizes will only be delivered through PayPal. If you dont have PayPal don't bother posting, I will NOT be doing money orders for this.
8. This contest starts now, no previously played games will be accepted. The current dxd game is "dxd7804" and the current dxdi game is "dxdi40" So only replays from games after this will be accepted. Please upload replays to the dota-allstars site.
9. Finally you must WIN the game, as well as complete the challenge to receive prizes.
10. Selling your items to achieve any challenge will disqualify you.
Challenges: Set 2
1. Stealthless Assassin - Win your game as Stealth Assassin without putting a single point in Permanent Invisibility. Specking this skill will DQ completely. Using an invis rune is ok.
2. Chicken Slayer - Get at least 3 hero kills using a Chicken/Crow. The courier must get the final hit or it does not count. Your chicken/crow must not be shared, all items used on crow to achieve kills must be purchased by you. No allied crow pooling is allowed.
3. Hooker - Finish a game with 100% hook accuracy as Pudge. For every 3 minutes of game length, 1 hook attempt must be made. (Exp: 30 Min Game = 10 Hooks). A few tips. Only hero hooks will give you successful hooks, hooking enemy creeps or neutrals will ruin your accuracy. Hooking ally heros/creeps do not effect your HA.
4. Divine - Attain a Divine Rapier withing 20 minutes from the creep spawn timer. It is fine if you lose the rapier, however you can not sell it. Keep in mind you still have to win. Giving your rapier to an ally, or purposely losing it to give to an ally will disqualify you. Losing in team fights, and what not is only acceptable way to drop it.
5. Skill Less - Do not cast a single skill/spell all game, including item skills/spells. Stats + Passives are fine. Banned item skills include TP Scrolls + Dust, all other consumables are fine. Bottle is also fine, as well as Wards. Midas, BoTs, Mek, Dagon, Ect all Banned.
Final Thoughts
Several people informed me they felt the last batch of challenges was too easy. I have to say I agree because I didnt expect them to be completed so quickly. I hope you are more satisfied with the difficulty of these challenges. Also like I said I plan on doing these once per month. Set 2 will be considered the set for March. Also dont try to cheat me, or find holes in the challenges. Your not stupid, and you know what each challenge means. So just do you best, because I will review each replay challenge fully.
